The Schulze Alpha -835s and 835w receivers are ultra compact 8 channel , lightweight FM-PPM units designed specifically for the electric flight market, but can be utilised in other disciplines. Their micro-processor controlled signal analysis stage suppresses interference and noise on the selected channel to a unique extent, in a similar way to PCM. This technique allows the receiver to detect interference, suppress it, and replace the invalid values (similar to PCM). The signals passed to the servos always lie within normal limits, and the servos are usually able to process them without problem. The receivers also have installed a reception quality indicator LED (glitch counter) which can be inspected after flight. Futaba single conversion stals can be used in these receivers. The two receiver differ in their servo output pin configuration, see picture. 835s weight (less stal) 13 grams size 45 x 21 x 13mm
